Rules and Criteria
The Contractor of the Year 2010 contest was created to recognize contractors who have annual revenues of
between $1 million and $10 million and who exemplify the highest standards of construction professionals: business
acumen, equipment management expertise, attention to safety and community involvement.
Contractors who meet these qualifications are invited to enter. Contractors also can be nominated by others in
the construction industry. To enter an applicant must:
- Have annual revenues of between $1 million and $10 million.
- Have at least 10 years of construction company ownership experience.
- Have an excellent safety record.
- Own at least five ride-on construction machines.
- Be able to represent the construction industry in a positive way.
An applicant is required to complete this form in its entirety. Co-owners should submit one application, listing
all owners. All entries must be received by September 15, 2009.
Equipment World editors will carefully review each entry and select 12 finalists.
Each finalist will be featured in Equipment World magazine and will win a free trip for the finalist and his/her
guest to Las Vegas to attend a NASCAR race. One finalist will be chosen as the Contractor of the Year 2010.
All information is confidential and is only used for judging purposes.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35403. All entries must be received by September 15, 2009. The Contractor of the Year 2010 contest is open only to contractors who have annual
revenues of between $1 million and $10 million. It is NOT open to employees of Randall-Reilly Publishing Co./Construction Media Group and its agents, and suppliers of
this program and their families. Offer void where prohibited and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Construction Media Group editors will select the 12 finalists
and the 2010 Contractor of the Year. Their decisions will be final. No responsibility is assumed for lost, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries.
PRIZES: Contractor of the Year finalists will receive a trip to Las Vegas to attend a NASCAR event.
Winners will be notified by mail and have an article on them published in a 2010 or 2011 issue of Equipment World magazine. Limit one (1) prize per family or household.
