David R. Wright

David R. Wright, Vice President/COO of Randall-Reilly Publishing Company,
began his career with the organization in February of 2000. Wright oversees
financial functions as well as administrative duties of the company.
His specific duties include overseeing the accounting function, including
monthly and year-end financial statements, all financing activities, as
well as the budget process. He also works closely with the Chief Executive
Officer of the company in developing business and strategic plans. All
cost departments such as accounting, purchasing, warehouse, collections,
and human resources report directly to him.
He was previously employed by Roland Pugh Construction as Chief Financial
Officer. Before working at Roland Pugh Construction, he served as the
Manager of Corporate Accounting for Harbert Corporation, which was involved
in the construction, real estate, oil & gas, and alternative energy industries.
He has previously served as President of the YMCA Men's Club and the Tuscaloosa
Tip-Off Club. He was a member of the Vestry and served as the Treasurer
for Christ Episcopal Church of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He also sits on the
Board of Directors of Indian Hills Country Club and served as President
for 2004 and 2005. Wright currently sits on the Board of Directors for the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce and is also a member of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public
Accountants.
Mr. Wright graduated with honors from the University of Alabama in 1983
with an accounting degree. He began his career with Arthur Andersen &
Company in Birmingham, Alabama before moving into private industry. David
and his wife, Shannon, reside in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They have two children:
Elizabeth, 18 and Miller, 16. Their family is active in the community
where they have served in various public schools' PTA's and have volunteered
their time at their church and other community organizations.
