Brent Reilly assumes new V.P. role at Randall-Reilly
TUSCALOOSA, ALA. (Sept. 19, 2007) –Randall-Reilly Publishing has promoted Brent Reilly to the newly created position of vice president, marketing and production.
“With recent and planned acquisitions the need for more and more promotional materials has ramped up significantly,” says RRPC Chief Operating Officer David Wright. “We’ve done a good job in this area but now we need someone who will be dedicated to this function on a full time basis. Brent has the organizational, planning and leadership skills to step into this role.”
In his new position, Reilly will be responsible for all promotional materials, printed and electronic, from inception to completion and distribution. He will oversee all marketing efforts for individual publications as well as corporate programs. To streamline operations, he will also manage the art and production departments.
Reilly earned his undergraduate degree at Auburn University and then went on to the University of Alabama for a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on strategy. After brief internships at RRPC, Gulf States Paper Corp., and Southwest Airlines, he joined AmSouth Bank in its highly structured management associate program designed to produce the bank’s future leaders.
After three years with AmSouth, Reilly joined RRPC and for the past two years has served as general manager of operations for the RRPC Events Group. In this role Reilly worked with Alan Sims, executive director of the Great American Trucking Show and the Great West Truck Show (formerly the Truck Show Las Vegas), overseeing operations for both tradeshows.
Reilly lives in Birmingham with his wife Jessica and his three year-old son Jack.
